Description
Originated since 2011, the group was found by a hotel owner and groups of farmer who have common believes in changing farm methodology from chemical agricultural to organic agricultural. There were also financial support from local parties such as government offices, schools, temples, and government-related entities. The group has called the project as “Sampran model”, the Public-Private-Partnership. The project’s objectives are to establish organic food sources for local people, arrange a market for consolidating farm products, and directly supply farm products to Samparn Riverside Hotel. Every weekend, the hotel also support its area to hold “Sookjai Market”, the Farmer market, to facilitate the organic products selling directly to consumers.
