Description | The Biodynamic Agricultural Association of Southern Africa (BDAASA) is a non-profit, voluntary, membership-based association of individuals practising and/or supporting the practice of biodynamic farming. BDAASA holds the Demeter standards as the benchmark for biodynamic agriculture. BDAASA offers a 2-year internationally recognised on-farm training program, which is quality assured by the Crossfields Institute . BDAASA also heads a Demeter PGS programme, a participatory system that promotes responsible biodynamic farming and food production to the consumer, provides training for the individual farmers and workers, and creates a social and supportive network between the farmers, workers and the consumer. |
